Every where me and my label goes,  people see my label

and they come to us as if we were celebrities

putting my label in private cars

with partitions up

yeah I know you like that right?

They got my label in lights

on the news every night

we;re in your papers, your blogs, your magazines

and Google Searches

My label is in  your fashion, drinks, music videos, dances, literature

My Label is everywhere

except there are some TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Everywhere I turn I see the signs

Every step I take, I'm receive eyes

Every Breath I exhale just might be my last

for I don't know when my label will cosume me

Other people uses my label as scapegoats

it's always getting us in trouble

landing us in places that aren't 5 star hotels

even if we didn't do anything

some use my label and make fun of it

calling it names and even judging our intelligence

to the point we can't even look in the mirror

some dont want my label and me to be here their town

telling us to go back to where we came from

even though we were born there

My label gets in so much trouble

that the fires of hate

makes fade away

Yeah, my label is famous because that's all people see

and they never see me

and I'm not the only one

there's millions of other black folks just like me
