My IMPERFECTion

My flaws? Yeah, they're outside,

always invalid and detected.

Out in the open, never can hide.

I'm feeling happy, my confidence is not affected.

My eyes? Yeah they can barely see.

Sometimes they'd rather not see

the ugliness of the world.

They prefer to see things close-up!

My eyebrows? Yeah, they're unique.

They arch their bodies in mysterious ways,

I don't want them fixed up or neat.

I'm letting them stay the same, unique way!

My forehead? Yeah, she's wide.

She says, "No! I will not hide",

"I don't care what others think of me,"

"I just want to be seen, and I will be!"

See, others say that I don't fit,

What society sees as "perfect"

Well, I've got news for you haters!

I woke up like this! I woke up like this!

No makeup on my soft skin,

No lipstick on my plump lips,

Nothing fake about my butt or hips,

I am FLAWLESS, out and in!
