To My Grandma

Thu, 10/25/2018 - 23:31 -- A.W.

If there was a river

Where I could drown my sorrows fine

If there was mountain

Whose shield would never shine

A mountaintop of treasures

As she protects it all

Standing tall

As Valor

Honor as they come

Prepared for all

It may take

Power

Standing strong

Wise with age

and young in old

amazing more so than anyone I know

incredible in teachings

impeccable cleanings

as she passes on her knowledge to

once younger ears as mine

Miraculous patience

Listening to never-ending absurdities

Flowing in the river of words that surround

Prominent from the two main oceans of inanity

That is me and my mother

A deeper understanment

Of life and what is held afar

This poem is about:
My family
