My God, Your God

My soul is a fire in the hands of a God,

My God, your God, someone with love

We may not have the same God, but we share the same blood

Escape skins, and truths, or lies, whichever you may hide

We are skeletons in the hands of a God

My God, your God, it does not matter

As long as we are loved, we are capable

We may run on this heavy ground,

Or swim in these harsh seas

My God, your God, we are loved

You may say you are not loved

Because maybe you are drowning in these harsh seas

Or maybe you have fallen on this heavy ground

But my God, your God, will pick up these broken pieces of a shattered soul

And place them peacefully back together

So do not tell me you are not loved

Because until the day that this earth,

These planets,

This universe,

Ceases to exist,

You will be loved by my God, your God,

One in the same.
