To My Family

Location

To my mother, Sarah Ann

Whose job is to teach

Kids in first grade,

Yet can cook like a chef

And clean like a housemaid,

Who enjoys midnight walks,

Broadway shows, and her van,

This poem is dedicated

To my mother, Sarah Ann

To my father, Ken

Who always keeps track

Of the family’s money,

Yet always mows the lawn

On days that are warm and sunny,

Who loves to fish

And hang out in his den,

This poem is dedicated

To my father, Ken

To my brother, Kenny

Who has always enjoyed

Playing video games,

Yet sometimes can be mean

And call everyone names,

Who is very athletic

And saves every little penny,

This poem is dedicated

To my brother, Kenny

To my brother, Michael

Who, for his age,

Is awfully tall in height,

Yet doesn’t always know the difference

Between wrong and right,

Who loves to play basketball

And ride his bicycle,

This poem is dedicated

To my brother, Michael

To my deceased pets

Who were always running

And swimming about,

Yet were great listeners

Without a doubt,

Who I fed and watched

And every need I met,

This poem is dedicated

To my deceased pets

But most importantly…

To my family,

Who has supported me

For my entire life,

During my happiness

And my strife,

So now there is only

One thing left to do

And that’s to say…

Thank you.

Thank you for being there for me,

This poem is dedicated

To my family.
