My Fairytale

Hey Mama, don’t make me come inside

In our creek sparkling fairies reside

They scared me at first so I hid in the reeds

But I gazed upon them and can no more break free

Oh Mama, please let me come inside

In our creek sparkling fairies reside

They whisper and hiss to follow them far

By now I’m now a changeling in the shadow’s dark

Hey Mama, don’t let me come inside

In our creek sparkling fairies reside

They followed us from the old lands to the new

To have their fair price from me and from you
