My Dream Job

People always ask me what my dream job is.

I could answer simply and say,

“I’m not sure yet, but I know there is a job for me!”

No, I want to answer differently; “My dream job is working with children.

I want to make a difference in a child’s life because I want to know that I helped someone.

Adults are not the only ones with struggles and problems.

How many children are there that must suffer in the dark?

How many kids in the world think that silence really is golden?

I want to reach out and help those kids, to show them the world is not as bad as it seems.

The idea of how a child’s brain differs from adults fascinates me, I want to learn more.

Children are in their prime development at early stage and I want to know more about that.

I want to know how others see the world and how children grow into society, into the world.

My biggest dream is to work with children on a personal level, for them to trust me so I can understand and learn right alongside them.”

I want to smile at the person with the fullest confidence and say, “I want to be a child psychologist.  I want to help people and make a difference in the world.”
