My Distant Present

Other dudes they try holler
But I can't talk back because my heart is to busy hollering for you
Baby can't you see it was all a mistake
Can't you understand that I just want to belong to you
Though I can't because they stand in the way with the walls that need tearing
So all I do is stare because I'm dead silent
But that should be enough because if silence speaks volumes
Baby I'm screaming around you
can't you see me drowning
I'm soaking in the tears you caused with my heart dying
So all that leaves me is bitter and alone without you
where's my lifeboat,
you didn't even send a rowboat
Its ok I'm fine though still moving even if it's kinda slow
And I now block out all of the feelings I know
With the past in my present, the present in my future and my future hasn't even begun
