My Dear Sid

I see that you're on the move again, always in a rush

Never one for simplicity, constantly on the run

I ask if I can come along, to which you aquiesce

Hopefully we can be successful in having fun for ourselves

Whenever I needed your help with girls, you were there

Sometimes til evening, when you wanted to return to your burrow

You often say that your mind is limited when in fact it is vast

If not for your lessons, I would have no desire to be quick and sharp

This world is full of heroes and charlatans, whom you have seen a plenty

If not for your wisdom through experience, how could I possibly see these frauds

It is because of you that I continue to grow and live, then and now

An ode to you, my dear Sid
