My Beauty

Proverbs 31:30~"Charm is deceitful and beauty  is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

My beauty of what others and what the world describes beauty is, and will ever be utterly in vain. I will not boast in my beauty, but I will boast all the more of the beauty I am in Christ Jesus and alone who has made a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I will boast all the more gladly of my beauty because in Christ - I am fearfully and made!! Let me say that again because it is so profound and so good as we are saying out loud of our declaration! I will forever all the more boast in my beauty in the Lord, all because He - not myself - made a new creation in Christ!

My beauty is not based on makeup. It is not based on what guys (or anyone else) perceive, compliment on or find attractive about my body, or me as a person. I am God's temple, so I am to honor God with my body. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

My beauty is not my firm foundation on which I stand on, for my firm foundation is found rooted deeply in Christ Jesus and Jesus alone! My beauty is not based on what my friends and family say. My beauty is not found through the internet and social media. My beauty is not based on the clothes, necklaces, shoes, bracelets, rings or anything else I wear. (1 Timothy 2:9-10)

My beauty is found and rooted deeply in the Lord God Almighty which is what I will boast about all the more!!

Amen!!
