My August sees no equality...

August, mother earth invites me in.
Yet her inhabbitants tell me no, they say I will never see the light, because I am covered in dark.
Yet I reach further.
August, they tell me I gang bang, they don't expect me to know better.
Yet I scored highest because I know better.
August, ma'ma tells me I will be a working man, but they say this job is too complicated for my kind.
Yet i haven't even fill out their application.
August, the heat grows, I thirst for equality, but I taste no moisture!
They say, those times have past and the world is new.
Yet I have seen 19 months of august and I taste no moisture.
