Turning twenty-five
Was worried it would be like the rest
Ready to celebrate it on my own
But then you surprised me
Coworkers started asking me questions
I was confused
You said you where planning a Lil thing for me
I felt touched
You set the day
You asked everyone who could go
I knew not everyone would
It was a fight night
I asked a few people I knew to go
At the end it was only 4 people who showed
It made me happy
Knowing you tried
Knowing you got everyone here
Knowing you picked my favorite place
You even got me a cake
You got me a gift
You got my heart
I enjoyed my birthday
I enjoyed myself for the first time
My 25th birthday was one to remember
