Mr. Crow

Am I black, colored, African American or am i just another skin color?

Am I a friend who screams down the street “there’s goes my nigga!” or am i just another nigga.

Am I color blind or i just chose ignore it.

When i tell the racist jokes about my ancestors, and laugh about but when the lighter color tells were ready to fight.

Does anyone realize that were segregating our very community, the community that fought for our rights as black people, the black panthers, Malcolm x

Exterminate the very will power, the very soul of our community

Do we realize that Jim Crow is in our own

#team light skinned #team dark skinned

Light skinned negroes to the left where you the rich blood can be “safe” in the white havens of the racism that broils in the community

Dark skinned negroes to the right where you’ll live in poverty because you aren’t the higher form of beauty

Come down to the ghetto where were seen as animals in a jungle

Come see what Mr. Jim Crow has left behind for us to pick it up again

Act white your shunned and to good for the rest of us Black folk.....
