Moving on ...

Luke 9:62 New English Translation (NET Bible)

62 Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow

and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

It dried out yesterday ... now the pen writes again.

Changes always knock to perform the call of expectation.

In advance paved the way ... to remember now and then

being part of the flock strangled in hesitation.

Lower thoughts on higher ground seem an oxymoron.

How can one raised in faith ... degrade again to works?

If one is heaven bound ... should he scan the horizon

or dig down for a way ... with a self-made fork?

Labor silently on the task before you

and embrace the promises written in your heart.

Rejoice quietly in opportunities to do

the things that so pleases Jesus close and far.
