Motive

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;

it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Motive

It starts so well defined ... follow and you will see.

It serves the good and only ... so you are free indeed.

The burden will be very light ... you can carry it all the way.

To the end on that narrow path that you follow every day.

As you walk along and sing aloud ... your strength is singing with you

and when the storms of life approach ... your faith will see you through.

The rain comes down and the wind blows hard ... what was light becomes a burden.

It takes two hands to keep hanging on ... no way left or right now for the turning.

“Take up your cross and follow me” ... My Lord pleads on the road.

I cry: “My Lord my hands are full ... as my knees buckle under the load”

“My burden is light” Jesus replies ... “Where did you find that ore?”

In your word I’m speaking soft ... but I just entered the wrong door.

Where in my word “John three sixteen or in “Ephesians two and eight?”

Where did you find it my dear friend ... why do you carry all that weight?

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
