Ecclesiastes 11:1

The Value of Diligence

11 Cast your bread upon the waters,
For you will find it after many days.

One page left and thousands to go

Seems the story of my life

Scribbling words on lines of morning glow

On a background of some white

Motivated by sullen nature

To leave something lasting behind

And in such the future to nurture

About the things I have in mind

Wasted time to some I know

To another a curious thought

To slow down some on the go

As extra time is quickly sought

Maybe to frame a state of heart

To plant some seed to grow forever

That will be watered from close and far

To bring hope and peace to what matters

A smiling face staring at me

Pictures on the wall of life

Worth the living being free

Products of me and my wife
