Mother Meanest

I have the meanest mother in sight.

She’s a mean mother

I’m sure, I’m sure I’m right.

Horrible habits on me and my brother:

“Brush your gums!”

“Do not hit one another!”

Chores in the house, do not bum

Among other disgusting horrible tales.

What was served on the table better land in our tum .

I was made to say “sorry” at the end of a fight.

“Sorry, friend,” we would say with a smirk.

“No. Say ‘I am sorry’ with all of your might.”

When it’s all said and done, and I’ve dealt with a jerk

The habits and lessons ingrained by mum

Are the only solutions to make everything work.

All the flaws and the failures in sum

Covered by oodles and oodles of love.

I have the meanest mother, and she is awesome!
