Like Mother, Like Daughter.

Mon, 10/14/2013 - 00:03 -- missv

It would make sense if a part of my mother's soul broke away,

and traveled to mine on the day that Earth welcomed me home.

Because now,

becoming who I am is the most lonesome,

yet rebellious.

I tore apart the standards that were set on me,

and followed my head rather than their rules.

I embraced my white bed sheets,

that were reserved for my petite physique,

and took pleasure in accompanying myself to sleep.

Like mother, like daughter,

would make sense because,

her history that was written in her soul,

was the one that entered mine,

and placed itself in my future,

as a very birthday present to keep.
