Mother

Oh, Mother, how I miss you so,

you left so long ago.

Why did you have to leave?

You know that I can not breathe.

You left a big hole in my heart.

But I must continue to be smart.

I must learn to move on.

No matter how long.

You will be my light.

That will help me ignite.

The fire burning within.

Now, where do I begin?

Mother, you drive me

Mother, you push me

Mother, you inspire me

To pursue my dreams in light of you.

Although I cannot touch you,

You inspire me, Mother.

To be better than any other.
