Mother

Carrier of life

The one that holds me tight

Tucks me in at night

Kisses my bad days away

Listens to me when times get gray

The one that holds my torch

The light that guides me in the dark

That one I can trust until my days are gone

Not only the one I love

But the love that loves me till her days are gone

Talks to me when I need it

Her words bring me comfort

To warm me in this cold winter

She says everything will be alright

When in reality

She’s the one that needs guiding

Pretending everything is okay

To hid the pain away

She is the strongest person I know

The one who’s name is Mother

This poem is about:
My family
