Mother

Thu, 10/25/2012 - 19:22 -- T.O.

Bringing me into this world
You thought I was a girl
Since the day I saw you
We came together as if I already knew you
As a toddler
I knew that I was wilder
But that made you stronger

You always said,
That your both mother and father
I never knew what that meant
So why bother
As a teenager
You kept me out of danger
When times I treated you like a stranger

I want you to know your the best
Don't even second guess
You made me what I am
Even when I'm not feeling well
As a man
You taught me how to stand
Things I looked past years ago
I realized, I now understand.
