Morning View

Ecclesiastes 1:9 New English Translation (NET Bible)

9 What exists now is what will be,

and what has been done is what will be done;

there is nothing truly new on earth.

Morning View (before the day starts ...)

Here we are gathered in silence

Music-memory blaring into space

What has happened to serene-ness?

Why be happy with second place?

Do we think that we are noticed?

Just by the amount of noise we make?

I guess our problem is lack of focus

As we dress mentally for the ornate

Reverence, a word that is seldom noticed

Even in the scriptures the new and the old

Maybe we have lost all sincere intention

To grasp the Holy purpose as foretold

Days are fleeting … hearts are stalling

“What will be”? A solemn question

The solution is clear … not overhauling

Replacement is needed … not just attention
