Morning Routine (Rutina de la Manana)

Here's a poem it'll help you to

remember what, you should do.
Everyday when you wake up from siesta

wash your face then you better get dressed- uh

what to wear? ?Que llevar?

In your closet: so many clothes there are.

El primer es pantelones o la falda,

Perhaps un vestido, wait what is that called-uh?

In English that is maybe pants or a skirt,

you could even wear a dress (yeah that would work!)

So you decided on unos pantelones vaqueros,

yeah those dark rinse jeggings, your favorite pair- oh.

Then something in the corner catches your ojos,

a pair of combat boots, cute zapatos.

Next you throw on una correa pequena

That is, a little belt, plus un anillo,

your brand new ring with a sparkly bow.

Out the door, you're almost ready to go,

The final step is to find una camisa,

a short sleeved one, in case it heats up- uh.

Que encontraste the perfect shirt so you're ready to go,

Say "adios" to la familia and "I love you so".

Out the door, you head for your automovil

Hop in and roll away rocking to Toby Mac with zeal.

The rest of la dia you're on clould nine,

meditating on God's word yeah you've gotta speak life,

not death,

not wrong, think right.

Be the salt, be the light.

Choose love, not fight.

Cuz God's ways are high,

all the way to the sky,

Because of Him,

I'll never die,

Cuz I have eternal life,

Life, life, life, life, life,

vida.
