Morning of Frost

Location

Let me wake you.

A frigid kiss to your nose,

an arctic nibble on your fingers,

and let me tingle your toes.

Come to me.

Give me energy, warmth.

Allow the color,

so soft,

to rise to your cheeks.

My favorite color,

you know,

is rose.

Bundle up in your scarf,

feel my breath through your hair,

watch the stars fade away.

It's all for you,

the gleam in your smile.

As the sun ascends

my icy skies,

I send to you,

as my moonbeams vanish,

and the crystals on the grass

begin to thaw,

a heartfelt whistle

on the wind.

My goodbye’s

until tomorrow.
