only withholding longer and longer
a decade old, hell where did the days go,
only to find yourself when you see a familiar face
you reach out too, in the cold
unknowingly going where we go
everywhere you go
there you are

for everyone knows a broken heart
is blind and you won't play part
till you begin to see a piece of brokenness you only hope to keep

armed with more truth than you can see or allow to set us free

it's a distraction in itself
I used: too interweave my inner means to each persona
I entertain to watch it grow
with seeds I let planted deep within me
I don't know who runs the show
all I know
is I don't get scared to let it go
I won't dare to confine its gifts or traits it at times gives me
it feels feelings or being powerful
I love to feel its presence
so it's why I invite it with an open door
the only thing fighting is letting it take full control
believe only a lie
can make it so

it's only then in the eclipse of the night
does a dark night of this soul takes place to rewrite the shadows you battle
