Life can be tough

And enough is enough.

But there’s always that one thing that makes us smile.

Mine is basketball.

Being able to lace up my shoes and step on the court

To play my favorite sport.

Turn on some tunes

And forget about all the goons.

The feeling of the leather ball in my hand

Makes me feel like I’m in command.
