Monti

Under a blanket on the floor of the basement

It’s a fort

I know but he didn’t say so

Our laptops look the same, but mine has a sticker

That confused him, made him upset

I know but he didn’t say so

He hums and bounces to the same two lines in Cars

He’s content

I know but he didn’t say so

Help me, stay with me, I’m happy with you just beside me

I know, so I do

Even though he didn’t say so

He has taught me to listen, how to show that I care

He makes me better

He won’t know, I need to say so
