Monsters in the Dark

Orphaned from so young an age
It’s a wonder I ever escaped that cage
The world was so dark from the place whence I came
Monsters and demons they soon became.
These Monsters and demons came from those to be trusted
Their hearts had been so far corrupted
Stay here in the corner, they wont see you there
I'll protect you, do not despair
Once the demons anger is bestowed upon me
I'm sure they will let us all go free
Brothers and sisters so hungry each day
I had to find a way to pay
Haunted still from the past I had
Its hard not to be all that mad
Through gods eyes I have learned to forgive and live
