The Monster in the Room

To the monster in the room,

Everywhere I go,

I see you, I here you, I feel you.

I walk into school,

I see you in the faces of every

Student, teacher, and friend.

I walk outside,

I here in you in the voices of every

Parent, child, and stranger.

I walk home,

I feel you emanating from every

Room, wall, and floor.

I then ask you

To stop the haunting,

To find another home,

To step back,

To please let go.

Sincerely, the girl who has been waiting
