The Moment I Died Inside

I could taste the sadness in my mouth as I walked into my mother’s bedroom
She started talking to me I could she her heart beating
But only of loud and fast beats.

At that point I knew that what she had to say would possibly change my life for ever.
Then all of the sudden I remember crying as if the worst thing had just happen to me.
At the time I was so out of it that I didn’t know that was exactly what had just happen to me.

I could smell the pain that my heart was feeling.
It smelled sick inside me.
I just remembered thinking to myself that the joy my Grandmother once bung too me ….
I would never again get to reach out and touch that Radiant sweet joy.
