In That Moment

In that moment she knew she had a heart;

she knew because she could feel it breaking.

Yet she forgives him, his property till the end, his for the taking.

Try to avoid his eyes, they pierce her vulnerable defense.

He broke her and threw her to the ground and yet she takes him back, it just doesn't make sense.

But, in that moments, she knew she couldn't love again;

she knew because he stole her heart and wouldn't give it back.

He leads her on, pretending yo love her, it's all just an act.

He'd supposedly moved on, got someone new.

Why is he still trying to be with her? An answer she already knew.

What is he to gain from her hurt? What is he to gain?

He loves her too, but decides to show her by giving her pain.

She still cares for him, that'll never stop.

Even when he pushes her away and his anger is to the top.

Because in that moment she knew that she could only love him;

she knew because she ould never love anyone else the same.

She's growing to love him more, and he's the one to blame.

Get out of my head! You're making me feel,

Like i need to let you go but I'm not making a deal.
