Mom

More than a mentor and protector

Out for your future happiness

Maybe just a little bit crazy

Mom, Mama, Mother, Mommy,

These are the titles

Given to the most noble women

On earth

They are born into their role

And they do the best they can

With what they're given

If youaren't one,

You could never understand

The joy when your child succeeds,

The profound sorrow when they leave,

The disappointment when they fail,

The fear that they may never return.

So give them crowns,

Give them praise,

Make sure they know

That they are special;

Tell them everyday.

You'll never find another

Quite the same,

Solet's raise our voices

And say,

"Mom, you are special,

In every way,

And I could never stay away."
