The mold you built but did not expect

Location

This mold you built

Is not what you expected.

This mold you took

18 years to fill

Is not what you like.

This mold you loved

Helped to fill itself.

This mold you raised

Does not have the aspirations

You hoped for.

You cannot be

Mad at this mold

For wanting different

Things than you.

You cannot be

Disappointed that

This mold believes

In different things than you.

You might be suprised

That this mold

Is actually a person.

A real, living, breathing person.

A person who can

Think for themselves.

You cannot force

Your ideas and theories

Into my head.

You cannot be angry

Because i’m not perfect.

You cannot refuse me

The right to be my own person.

You cannot demand

Things of me to become.

You must let me

Be the person i’m going to be.

I am who i am.

I will be what i want to be.

I will do what i want to do.

I will live the life i want to live.

I will have my own thoughts.

My own beliefs.

I don’t need your’s anymore.

I am not a mold

For you to build

How you want to.

I am my own person

I will become the person

I want to be.
