Moi

Thu, 01/22/2015 - 12:19 -- nunamo

I am from bricks and strength.
I’m from violence and broken pavements.
I am from the happy household peace plus rest equals faith.
It is self- fulfilling
I am from the drums of the Serengeti
The onion and garlic aroma
I am from the sausage biscuit before the Sunday service
From seeing generosity
I’m from a family joking around during hard times.
First impression to be mean
From never letting a man abuse her daughters
She said that I’m the prize.
I am from Christians thinking perfect.
From the synagogues is the hospital.
I am from red dirt.
I am from shrimp creole and craw fish.
From a woman who taught me strength.
I am from a book called Rain
I am from positive vibes, determination, and confidence
I am god’s grace
