Mistaken Love

Sun, 09/07/2014 - 19:51 -- 237806
All you can see is that I'm pretty,
and to you my only name is baby.

My heart melts when you touch my lips,
but I'm just another to your list.

I'm there for you whenever you need me,
even if you are just looking for my body.

I let you take me to bed.
"I love you," that's what you said.

Now I know that your words are all lies.
I know I shouldn't be surprised.

I still wait until midnight,
hoping that you will call me tonight.

Even though I'm just an object in your eyes
you will always give me butterflies.
