The Mirror Knows no Beauty

When you look into the mirror you are unable to see the beauty that you possess deep inside.

Your reflection in the mirror is the spitting image of Society spitting words that make you cry.

Too ugly.

Too fat.

Too this.

Too that.

But darling don't you fret,

what the mirror doesn't tell you:

Society's standards are simply never met.

One day you will look into the mirror,

one day you will finally know,

all of the beauty that lies deep within

is the only thing that ever does show.

Your sense of humor,

your bright, bubbly laugh,

your caring nature,

and your love for taking baths.

All of the above make you who you are,

so please don't ever change.

Darling you are FLAWLESS.

Not one thing about you is strange.

Do not let Society's standards define your beautiful soul.

You need to learn to love yourself and make yourself feel whole.
