The Minority

This country was created by the minority,
with a whip to their back
a gift from the majority.
And when they were free of their chains and bonds,
they gained no love or respect.
Just treated like thieves and cons.
Until one day,
some people came along
with something to say.
They didn’t have the might,
And the odds were against them
but they fought for what was right.
Many good people died,
by the ones who hated them
but in the end they no longer had to hide.
They had finally won the battle,
and gained their freedom
this made the hole world rattle.
For they started something great,
they became an asset
by choosing there own fate.
And now we have one at the top,
leading this country
but I don't think this is where they stop.
