Mind matters

2 Corinthians 11:4     New English Translation

4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus different from the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the one you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it well enough!

The peril of the Christian life is to have false teachings injected

Into his life of thought regularly so he’ll be led astray

By false winds of doctrine that through darkness seem perfected

Satan disguised as the light will go straight to the intellect, just that way

He appears like an angel of brightness, and so do all his demons

If they can teach “true” worship to God through intellect

A Jesus other than the Lord and a spirit far removed from the Holy

The gospel then gets propagated where Grace and reward get stretched

The question then arises it possible to have new life and not a new heart?

Without a changing of the mind and to be renewed with the mind of Christ?

So that the intentions of the heart are pure and renewed there from the start

And the perception of a new reality sets in with the discovery of a priceless find
