In the midst of the horizon

Location

In the midst of the horizon, I thought of you.

That warm, gentle touch of the morning dew

And the mix of differences among our points of view.

Walking along the beach that day,

I remembered the times where differences were far and few between,

The only thing which separated us was He who held us together.

Although different in perspective, We share a bond which cannot be broken.

Our relationship will equate that of the waves and sand

If need be, the sand will endure the pain

struck by the crashing of the wave.

Like the analogy of the rose and the thorn,

Don’t forget the need for shelter during a storm.

In times of sorrow and struggle,

Find in me:  your bed of roses,

Your sand to shuffle.
