In the midst

John 14:16-17

16 Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—

17 the Spirit of truth, Whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see Him or know Him.

But you know Him, because He resides with you and will be in you.

Midst

In the midst of all confusion ... it is simply to be said:

“Common ground neglects intrusion of lost freedom in a web”

In a wave of what is wanted now ... desires rule the day

What’s deserved in reason “Good for me” … seems the chosen way

A world conceived in emotions ... only cries for itself

Being blind to all except own feelings ... on its ride to hell

“Love your neighbor” it’s written ... “Love your God” is the call

“Who is your neighbor?” now the question ... Who’s your “god” after all?

How to change the “yours” into mine ... and to possess on a “mine” basis?

This has been the mystery of it all ... only to be answered on life’s pages

Who is “your” God and Who is mine ... He defines “my neighbor”?

Does the heart? What if it is dead? ... I won’t know despite my labor

Maybe there is no common ground ... unless lead by the Holy Spirit

The only One Who understands ... The only One here to interpret
