Metamorphosis

Take an excursion to a place unknown to your heart

Whether it be nostalgic or virgin land

Even if one is shrewd or facetious, we all enjoy the same thing

We all at one point fabricate these ideas or fetishes

But only a minute amount of us set out to live their dreams

The rest of the population lives in a daydream

Surviving on hope that mabe one day

They too will climb a mountain, become a chef, and visit England

We are thrown into this radical life

And like spores, spread out and populate

Disappearing without anyone recognizing them missing

We either leave missives on beds when this life becomes too much

Or become entangled in a repetitive routine

Where the coffee shop is the first destination every morning

We must expand our horizons
