Men of Mine

My enemy, my loved one,
someone so close.
Walked away and didn't turn back.
The thoughts that traveled through my mind.
Years later, introduced once again.
The hatred that circulated through my blood,
our blood, the same blood.
Reunited, because of the worst circumstances.
Then once again, separated.
He walked away,
On his way to heaven.
My new joy.
The new man that came into my life.
My bestriend, love, enemy.
The man to replace the blood tat once was.
The other man of mine.

Poem about my father who just recently passed as of last month, and of my boyfriend who stood through my side throughout it all.
