In Memory of Trayvon Martin

In Memory of Trayvon Martin

February 26,2012

Ya life was taken

Why?

Is It because of

Yo race

Yo appearance

Yo walk

Or

Ya Skittles and Iced tea?

Shot in yo chest

I hope you get eternal rest

A man—a grown man at that

Killed a child

Was it because of

Yo race

Yo appearance

Or

Yo Skittles and iced tea?

They heard you yelling

For help but nobody

Came to ya command

ya cry or ya plea

Desperate plea fa help

What was ya purpose

George Zimmerman?

Trayvon you labeled as a thug

But yet he was unarmed

Aint have nun but a

Bag of skittles and Iced tea

What was ya motivation

 George Zimmerman?

And yet ya killer free

If Trayvon pulled the trigger

He would be in jail

I want justice for all African American

Kids who were wrongfully killed!

(I might be kinda late for reading this poem, but hey, Better late than Never]

But yeah, I also to this day agree that no justice was done & very true, If it was Trayvon who pulled the trigger, he would be the one locked up:/

RIP Trayvon Martin
