Memories

You departed way to soon > Now you're up there with the moon, > The clouds, and stars while they shine bright > I hold back tears all through the night, > Can't help but think of all the memories > You truly meant a lot to me, > Not MEANT but MEAN, cause you still do > No amount of time can replace the value, > Of what became a friendship I will never forget > We will meet again so I'll try not to fret, > It hurts to know you can't watch me grow > And laugh at all the hissy fits I throw, > Prom and graduation too > My mom is here but I want YOU, > YOU to be with her now and forever > For her to talk to about whatever whenever, > I realize the pain of moving as a start > But You, Dennis, will forever be in our hearts.
