Mejora

I am from the ancient lands of Africa

where the first people took their long tread to the development of civilization.

I am from equality

where no being is discriminated by intellect or appearance.

I am from the red lands of the small town of Lagrange.

I am from the Bluegrass city.

I am from the Buckeye city.

I am from bitter pain and loneliness

where kindness is taken advantaged or for granted.

I am from the emerald,

prized, dark jewel of beauty and sophistication.

I am from loving, strict hands

teaching me the importance of manners.

I am from the land of the Sun,

and the land of the morning calm.

I am from unreciprocated love,

confessed then ignored.

I am from society’s pressure.

“Genius is not the answer to all questions

but the question to all answers.”

I am from the night,

the gray skies of cloudy days.

I am from physical expression, vocal expression.

I am from love, the love of Yahweh.

I am from the Earth, the sky, the universe.

I am from the creation of the ever-expanding mind.

I am from resilience, passion, tenacity, self reliance.

Mejora.
