To be free, to be inspired,

Not knowing a day of regret,

Sharing with others how to listen and love,

How to live.

To never judge, only learn,

To be responsible.

A question posed to a child,

Repeated.

I know what it meant to you,

What you wanted it to mean to me.

I know that it means to me,

What it did not mean to you.

So I pose to you what was asked of me,

As a child,

Now an adult.
