Me and Her

I screamed. She was never seen. See what she lacked I carried and what I lacked she held onto so dearly. I never could understand how she could move so gracefully and yet never be seen and she could never understand how I could be so joyful and not be heard. But I guess thats the price we held when we were different. See being different can be good and it can be terrible. In a world we wanted to stand out in; people were dying to be the same and in that world we were outsiders. We didn't belong. But we did belong to each other.
