March Twenty Ninth, Two Thousand Sixteen

At the end of the tunnel I see a light;
I'm so relieved that it's still in sight.
I almost thought you had given up,
but I knew when you called me "buttercup,"
that was not the case.
I was starting to think I was a waste.
But when I seen those baby blues,
I just knew.
There will always be a "me and you".
There will never be a day,
no matter how far you may stray,
that our love will fade away.
Me and you?
Yeah, we're forever.
You are my greatest endeavor.
And no matter how dark it is,
how tightly my eyes are closed,
I will forever know:
you are the light at the end of my tunnel.
