March 26th

Location

“March 26th”

March 26th

Is a day of birth.

A new poet is given to the Earth.

At the edge of dawn,

The last Frost[1] has gone,

Spring is on its way.

March 26th

Is a day of death.

A drummer[2] takes his last breath,

Without a wife or scion.

In like a lion,

Out like a lamb.

March 26th

Is a day of change.

Crowns[3] are given and rearranged.

Never forget those at rest,

Who died for us and are blessed,

At the nation's capitol[4].

March 26th

Is a day of reflection.

A product of natural selection.

I wouldn't be what I am now,

An answer to my parent's vow,

On this day I completed a family.

March 26th

Is just another day.

People are born, people decay,

All move with this giant sphere,

85 days have gone in the year,

280 days to go.
