To the man who caused my car accident

Dear Mr.Driver I don't understand

How you can mistake green from red

I know this road like the back of my hand

The pain and suffering to me you had lead

All because you couldn't wait until green

My life has been forever changed

It's my fault right because I'm a teen

It wasn't my fault but yours however

I was on my way to perform for my school

You turned left on red

How could you be so cruel

I wasn't by myself but with carpool

I saw your car coming and I hit the breaks

But that wasn't enough because my car you spun

A second to look is all it takes

Moments after impact I had run

I ran to your car to see if you were okay

A different language you spoke

And your hair all in grey

I looked at my car and I broke

Screaming and crying yet I was okay

I was thankful no one was hurt

But my terror still has not gone away

Mental trauma is what I still exert

Because of you, my car was totaled

My childhood illness brought up was soon to be followed

But I make to you a proposal

That  isn't hard to swallow

My proposal to your ignorance

Please wait your turn

I waited for mine and that's the difference

You have so much to learn

Dear Mr.Driver I wish this would disappear

But it cannot because my fear is still here
